Community Based Learning from a Student Perspective
About the Project
The “Engaged Bucknell Data Stories” project was started by Presidential Fellows Dora Kreitzer ’25 and Aidan McKenna ’25 in collaboration with Academic Civic Engagement and the Office of Civic Engagement in winter 2021. Their goal was to tell stories about the important community engaged working happening on and around Bucknell’s campus, encouraging others to get involved and building the presence of civic engagement on campus.
ABOUT THE RESEARCHERS:
Dora Kreitzer ‘25 is a Sociology Major from Gaithersburg, MD. Outside of the Presidential Fellowship, Dora is the Print Managing Editor for The Bucknellian, a Speak Up Peer, a Peer Writing Consultant, and Teaching Assistant for Food, Faith, and Justice.
Aidan McKenna ‘25 is a Finance Major from Port Jefferson, NY. In addition to conducting research as a Presidential Fellow, Aidan is a Bison Finance Society Analyst, a member of the Bison Triathlon club, and a member of club golf.
